मेरठ। श्रम विभाग में पंजीकृत निर्माण श्रमिकों को कन्या विवाह योजना के तहत लाभान्वित किया जाएगा। योजना के तहत श्रमिक कम से कम 18 वर्ष आयु में बेटी की शादी करेंगे तो उन्हें 55 हजार रुपये की आर्थिक मदद मिलेगी। अन्तरजातीय विवाह की स्थिति में यह सहायता धनराशि 61 हजार मिलेगी। दूसरी ओर, बोर्ड के निर्देशानुसार जिले में सामूहिक विवाह का आयोजन कराया जाएगा। इसके लिए अपील की गई कि पंजीकृत निर्माण श्रमिक जिनकी पुत्रियों के विवाह का मुहूर्त आगामी दो महीनों में तय हुआ है और वह अपनी पुत्रियों का विवाह सामूहिक विवाह में कराने के इच्छुक है तो वह अपना आवेदन उपश्रमायुक्त दफ्तर में जमा कर सकते है।
यह जानकारी उपश्रमायुक्त सरजू राम शर्मा ने दी। उन्होंने बताया कि उत्तर प्रदेश भवन एवं अन्य सन्निर्माण कल्याण बोर्ड के द्वारा निर्माण श्रमिकों की पुत्रियों के विवाह में सहायता के उद्देश्य से कन्या विवाह योजना चलाई जा रही है। ऐसे में पंजीकृत निर्माण श्रमिक जो कम से कम एक वर्ष से पंजीकृत हो। अधिकतम दो पुत्रियों के लिए कन्या विवाह योजना के तहत निकटतम श्रम कार्यालय में अपना आवेदन कर सकते है।
योजना में लाभान्वित होने शर्त है कि कन्या की उम्र कम से कम 18 वर्ष और वर की उम्र कम से कम 21 वर्ष होनी चाहिए। इस योजना के तहत पुत्री के विवाह के लिए 55 हजार रुपये की धनराशि दी जाएगी। अन्तरजातीय विवाह की स्थिति में यह धनराशि 61 हजार मिलेगी।
